Greenheart has attracted the support of a wide variety of people and organizations. Through generous donations of expertise and cash, we have met the costs of Design and Research (below). We now need to increase support to be able to build and commission our first vessel. We are continuing in our efforts to secure further expert advice and consultation from individuals and institutions, grants from foundations, donations from the public, and sponsorships and equipment from companies around the world.

We have created three levels of funding to enable a wide range of stakeholders to participate in our project: Supporter, Associate and Sponsor. This list of three levels of support and the corresponding premiums is not meant to be comprehensive. We welcome contributions of any smaller or greater amount, and will try to compensate donors commensurately. We especially appreciate donations of the smaller amounts, since they indicate grassroots support.

Donated funds and equipment or service pledges will go into one of the following critical areas:
  • Design and Research
  • General Ship Building Fund
  • Crew Training
  • Financial support for developing world crew members and community development.
  • Education Programs

Category of Cooperation

A) Supporter

Supporters will receive the following:
  1. A link from our website supporters page
  2. Regular project updates
  3. Mention in promotional materials
  4. An invitation to attend ship arrival festivals around the world
  5. Single Working Passage berth on our first Greenheart ship (duration:1,000 nautical miles)

Individual & NGO Supporter - €500 or an equivalent material/service donation.
Business Supporter – €1,500 or an equivalent material/service donation.

B) Associate

Associates will receive the following:

  1. All of the Supporter benefits listed above.
  2. Invitation to attend the ship's launch.
  3. Logo or message displayed at the Ship's Media Centre.
  4. One zero-emissions certified Cargo Unit* voucher for the shipment of freight on the maiden voyage. (or, an additional Working Passage berth)

Individual & NGO Associate - €1,000 or an equivalent material/service donation.
Business Associate – €2,500 or an equivalent material/service donation.

* one Cargo Unit = one cubic meter of cargo X 1,000 nautical miles

C) Sponsor

Sponsors will receive the following:
  1. All of the Supporter and Associate benefits listed above.
  2. VIP invitation to attend the ship's launch.
  3. An additional zero-emissions certified "Cargo Unit* voucher for freight shipment on the maiden voyage. (or a Working Passage berth)
  4. Opportunity for further partnership activities, joint marketing & promotion, specific project development & collaboration, networking etc.

Individual & NGO Sponsor - €1,500 + or an equivalent material/service donation.
Business Sponsor - €5,000 + or an equivalent material/service donation.
